When you delete projects, databases, or folders in Akur8, they are moved to the Trash where they remain for 30 days before permanent deletion. This allows you to recover accidentally deleted items.

Accessing the Trash

The Trash is located at the bottom of the left sidebar.

Click on Trash to view all deleted items. The table displays the name of the deleted item, the section it belongs to (Data, Risk, Demand, Rate, Optim), the date it was added to the trash, and who moved it to trash.

For each item in the trash, you can either restore it to its original location or delete it permanently using the “DELETE NOW” option. You can also empty the entire Trash by clicking on “EMPTY TRASH” at the top right of the screen.

Note: For security reasons, “Empty Trash” and “Delete now” actions are only available to workspace or group admins. You can read more about Account management in our documentation here.

Warning: Model branches within projects, variables deleted from databases, rate blocks, and other project components are permanently deleted and do not appear in the Trash. These items cannot be restored once deleted.

Note: To delete a workspace you must first delete all projects and databases within it, then empty the trash.
